When I saw that these were offered in Petites, I promptly ordered a pair. They fit well, were comfortable when I tried them at home, but I didn't want to rate them before I tried them in action, on the slopes. Well, now I can tell - they are just perfect! Since they don't have much of a lining, I wore them with fleece leggings and that was more than enough. They are truly wind-proof and water-proof, so not once was I cold in them. And I skied at 12,000 ft and higher in CO! I guess, that "Proof membrane" does the trick. I just wish STP would always include the inseam measurements and carry more pants in Petite sizes!

Reviewed by Stretch from Reno on Saturday, February 09, 2013I purchased the large long. I usually wear a 10 . I am a 36in inseam and these pant are just long enough. The inseam on the large is 35 1/2 in. There is plenty of room for a base layer and the adjustable waist band works well. I think a medium would have been too short and too snug in the thighs for an athletic build.

I've had the jacket in several downpours and stayed dry as a bone...on my torso and arms...clearly the need for waterproof pants exists so I bought these! Zippers work very well and there are lots of pockets (not all pants have them). The side zippers go from the ankles (which have elastic tighteners) all the way up to the hips! Two front pockets and one rear pocket, all roomy.

I have tried multiple pairs of other pants and either they did not fit right, did not have enough features or did not feel right with movement. These pants have it all and look great too.
