    I bought this specifically for my friend to use when we go geocaching. I believe I found all my requirements in this beautiful bag: rugged, adjustable shoulder strap, easy access outside pocket, and compartments for tools. I wish the bag had been a couple of inches shorter but I couldn't find a bag anywhere in that size range that did the job as well as the Jaunt. I'll probably get one of these for myself!

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought this and the timbuk2 jessie. Good quality, well-made, love the swivel "buckle" at the end of the strap that lets you untwist the strap easily without taking it off. Nice colors and design. Negative points: it doesn't have enough compartments for my needs. FYI - I carry a lot of little things that I would like separated. Another downside is that it is a tall bag so it is a little hard to search for items that had fallen to the bottom. The flap in the front is good for deterring pickpockets but it is a little too troublesome for me to use. I had to fumble for the buckle and flip the flap back to access the front zippered pouch. Imagine doing that many times throughout the day. It gets annoying after awhile. This is a good bag, but unfortunately, it's not for me. After fitting all my items in this bag and the Jessie, I found the latter more practical for everyday use.
