Reviewed by OCULUS from Rensselaer, NY on Monday, March 25, 2013I have a lot of Italian tailoring from STP, including Isaia and others, and as a perfect American 46L, I have to bump up to 58 in Italian sizing (not the usual add-10 to 56). This coat was the opposite. I ordered the 56 and it fits more like a 48/58, with longish sleeves too! Because the fabric is a hefty cotton canvas weave, it was bulky; I'm sure after a lot of wear it would break in nicely, but it would still be too large, even with a heavy sweater. Too bad you don't have a 54, it would seem to be perfect.
