Answer This hoodie is a durable 7.8 ounce Comfortblend fleece. It is the average weight of a regular hoodie.

Answer Lightweight, but not quite t-shirt material. If you're looking for a bulky weight "sweatshirt" for use in colder weather, this is not it. I bought it for use on the beach to protect from the sun or for layering with a nylon windbreaker for golfing.
