I found my new hunting boot .

Growing in up in Aussie 30 years ago , we only had UK sizes to choose from . My whole adult life I have been a UK size 9 (US 10) . When I saw these in a 9.5 I pounced on them . Half sizes in UK do not relate to the length , but rather as extra width . Mind you it does not translate to EE .
The build quality of the boot is 1st rate . They certainly do not feel like a 3lb boot . They are very sturdy with the right amount of flex under the ball of the foot . The gusset tongue is generous & it is very easy to slip you feet in & out of the boots . The Gore-Tex do make them a bit warmer than an uninsulated boot . It's summer in OZ at the moment with temps in the mid 30c range & it is too hot to wear them .
I bought these to wear Upland shooting & Deer stalking in the winter months where temps remain in the low teens (Celsius) during the day & around 0 during the night .
They will be perfect for this purpose . Also got the missus a pair of the ladies' boots .
Both of my teenage sons have massive feet in a wide (EE) & I would not consider getting them a pair as there is just not enough width in the 1/2 size for them .
