5.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice boots. Beware the sizing as those listed are MENS . Read the comments for insight.

Received these yesterday and believe they are an excellent purchase. They both look nice and are functional. They will take a bit more time to get on and off due to the lacing, but on the positive side, they can be laced tight suitable for being more active outside. Seem warm. I purchased the 9, which was the right size for me for as I wear a 10 to 10 1/2 U.S. women's. They were marked a 42 Euro (I typically wear 41 or 42, but like extra room for active boots).

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Cold weather boots

Where to start. I love the part in the description, "fashionable,... wearing with tights." I bought these for severe cold, wet conditions. In which conditions, they are great! The size runs about a half size large. Once you consider that, the fit is very good. Zero degrees Fahrenheit and you feet are still toasty. They are lighter weight than they look. I would easily recommend them. Considering my price paid and how they fit, feel, a definite two thumbs up!!!

These boots are wonderful! Very solid, totally waterproof and very cozy. They were a little hard to get my foot into at first, had to really loosen the laces, but once inside they are amazing. Traction is much better than on other snow boots I've owned. I didn't think they were that cute (I bought more for function than fashion), but I've gotten a lot of complements on them. Very light weight as well.
The size 9 was fine, I'm usually a 10. I got the black.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. size does matter

I bought these boots before a review was posted. I wear 7.5-8 so I bought an 8. As the other posters said, way to big. I exchanged them for a 7 and found them to still be a little big. The 7 was a 39.5 in EUR. I live in snow country and wanted to use them for snowshoeing. I will keep the 7's using a thicker sock or maybe an insole.
The boots are well made and I have had them in 8' of snow for several hours without any moisture in the boot. The temp outside was 20-27 during this time.
They do look nice with leggings

STP should list the sizes for shoes in the category the shoe maker use. If the shoes are made to Euro sizes, then list the Euro sizes, if made to UK sizes then list the UK sizes. Because no matter how many different kinds of sizes are given on the box or in the shoes--only one is accurate. The company site lists these boots in UK size, and direct buyers to a chart to convert. According to these chart, the sizes listed on this page are actually close to US men not US women.

I bought a pair after talking with customer service and confirming they are in women sizes. I had my doubt just by looking at how low the available sizes go. So when the shoe came they are indeed US men size. I exchanged for a whole size down; had a little trouble to convince the customer person that I was not in the wrong. But US men and women sizes do not exactly differ by one size. The new pair are still a bit large. But I decided to live with it, not wanting to risk being too small.

The shoes themselves are well made--even rare in that they are tall and warm, but light. Lining looks/feels like at least partially wool felt; wonder how much wool content it has.
