Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great rod, casts beautifully and effortlessly, great for roll casts too, the tip is not too rigid so it protects thin tippets, I am planning to buy another Hardy from the same series in the near future. I own top of the line Sage and Scott rods but this is my favorite rod now.
