No, I would not recommend this to a friend

“Made the mistake of wearing white wool socks. They're now black/white from the toes back. Thin pebbled leather upper is unlined; must've used cheap dye. Leather thin at shifter spot. Soles seem sturdy. Height cuts down on cold wind.”
