“I own a Harley along with the traditional clunker Harley boots. I ordered the Silvio's for shorter jaunts around town or closer destinations when "style over substance" was a more exciting choice. It's nice having a fun, fashionable addition to the leather wardrobe. They add protection over plain shoes but are not as heavy for traditional riding boots which provide greater warmth and protection. They are also versitile and comfortable enough to wear off the bike. I'll be wearing them tomorrow on a New Year's "HOG" ride so will have a better idea of their intended use, performance, and comments from other riders.
