I am short and round and this XL jacket fits well.

Have not tried out on the water yet, but appears to be very well made with more than adequate arm holes for paddling. Could see a problem in some activities with being much shorter than traditional jackets with the front floation concentrated in a smaller area -- the front sticks out more than expected. Would have a more visible color but, there was no stock on that color in the size required.

Fits very well, adjusts so it will fit different people if you lend it to a friend. Comfortable to wear.

Great straps for securing kayaks. Built our own kayak trailer to hold 8 kayaks. These work great, attach,pull and you are set to go.

used as tie downs on kayak trailer. very easy to use with clips on both end and elastic to help cinch down kayaks. Has elastic by strap for holding excess strap but no directions on how works.

This is a great jacket and at a great price. I have used it twice thus far. I have not been in the water with it on, yet. But I can tell that it will work very nicely. It is light and strong and does not get in the way.

I am 5'11", 225 lbs witha bit of a tummy. The XL/2XL PFD fits reasonably well. I have yet to test it in the water. It is possible it will ride up a bit. The build quality seems good and the design has durability potential. It does feel a bit bulky.

This fits well and has many pockets for stashing small items. I'm pleased with the purchase and price.

I will use this for kayaking. I ordered this vest after returning one from another company. My husband is an Outdoor Recreation Director and has been a kayaking/rafting instructor for over 30 years. His appraisal of the original vest was the reason I returned it. When I found this one, he ordered one for himself as well and is placing an order for 25 additional ones to be used in his kayaking program. From his experience, he knows that when you are being hauled up out of the water after a mishap, 99% of the time it is by the straps of your pfd. The straps on this vest are not just attached at the shoulders, but they run inside the vest all the way down to the waist and are stitched twice. This means they are anchored firmly and will not rip out when you are being lifted out of the water. Also, the waist cinch is a very good feature because the vest can go up over your head if you fall in rough water if the vest does not cinch around the waist. We also found the fabric to be comfortable against the skin which may not sound important, but chafing can occur with rough or stiff fabric. These vests also have a very large range of adjustment within the sizes. Excellent vests - very happy with the purchase.
