    I put this lamp next to my bed for reading (it uses a 3-way bulb). Although this lamp is quite tall for a table lamp, I like its clean, modern lines. And it's good for reading.

    bought it three times and twice the lamp shade was damaged. the last was not worth me spending time boxing it up again and shipping it off at my expense. go for the Oriental accent lamp. you'll love it.
