When I tried this on it fit perfect but the collar was wrinkled and rather stiff, so I washed it to soften it up....it did not wash well and now needs ironing....too much work to wear under my favorite sweater, with just a wrinkled collar showing

I will use the one I wore for work, the other two go back.

Soft and substantial

I wanted a mock turtle and was intriqued by the split neck. It adds a touch of difference to the same old same old.

The collar and cuffs had effectively zero stretch and were very tight. Pulling the shirt on was difficult, and pulling the sleeves up more than an inch was absolutely impossible. I have zero intention of ever wearing this shirt.

I've returned the item

Perfect pink all-cotton top and open notch mockneck is a nice detail. The slight shrinkage after washing is okay since I'm petite anyway. But this being a 'seconds' the side seams and bodice is torqued, therefore its only a four star-rating. Still fine if used as a layering piece. However, size-up for a larger figure.

I knew when I bought this that the reviews were mixed, leaning toward the negative, but I was surprised to find how restrained the negative comments must have been. Frankly, I bought this because I was looking for a couple of white cotton mock turtlenecks and...how bad could it be? Turns out - very bad! The large fit like a small (my normal size is a 12 and this fit like an 8 through the chest and sleeves...a claustrophobic fit you could say. The fabric was of a very poor quality, thin and with a low quality feel. The turtleneck itself had an unexpected "notch" in it, which might have been an interesting detail had the neck not been too big. My advice for this item is stay away! Do what I should have done in the first place - pay a little more money and buy an L.L. Bean cotton mock...always quality goods.
