    I purchased this lunch bag for my 3 year-old son. We use it for packing lunches for the park, zoos and our other special outings, and I am planning on using it as his lunch bag for school in the fall. The size and construction are great. The elastic/velcro strap inside holds a juice pouch/box/thermos in place and there is a velcro mesh pocket for napkins, utensils etc. The alien design is fun and my son loves it!

    This lunch bag is really cute. I purchased the 'alien' version, which I think would appeal to boys and girls alike. The construction is decent and it looks durable. I got it to bring along snacks for short outings on nice days or trips to the library. My only concern is that the zipper is stiff. A child might have a difficult time managing it. Perhaps, as some zippers do, it'll improve with age and use. We'll see.

    My son already has a lunchbag, but I find it's convenient to have an extra one to fill with the snacks and drinks he wants on the ride home from school or on a long car ride. The simple rectangular design makes it possible to leave the top flipped open on the passenger seat and easily find the snack he wants. The design makes it useful as a travel case for toiletries, too. A great bargain!
