Note: Infant apparel is sized according to average height and weight by age. Choosing the size that corresponds to the child's age is a good rule of thumb, but measuring the child's height and weight will help determine the most accurate fit. If the child's height and weight fall into two different size ranges, choose the larger size.
Height: To measure your baby's height, lay her flat with the top of her head against the wall. Gently stretch her legs straight and measure from the wall to her heels. Older children can be measured standing, from the top of the head to the ground, without shoes.
Weight: To weigh your baby at home, first weight yourself on your bathroom scale, then weigh yourself again while holding your baby. Subtract the first weight from the second.
