“I took this out of the box, cut the tags and wore it to work the next day! I cant believe it doesn't NEED tailoring. This is a great jacket for my teacher wardrobe. This Jacket fits ALMOST perfectly. It is a tad long in the arms. If I keep my arms moving no one will notice. The jacket looked too short in the picture but is actually long enough in the waist for petite me. This will be a great jacket for teaching. I look polished and the pockets (although small) are useful for a pen, keys and lip balm. I love that it is washable
I was reluctant to order this at first. It looked so boxy and cropped. I'm really glad I finally did. Most of the other Hawkley and Wight jackets ( I ordered first) were way too long. The short sleeve navy jacket was too stuffy and formal for me in a Nancy Reagan way. I ordered the navy straight skirt and that fit me perfectly.
I wanted a jacket to match the skirt so I finally took the gamble with this "Bomber" Jacket. I LOVE IT. I wish it came in other colors! Its not as formal as the previous jackets that I mentioned so it goes better with my outdoorsy (tpmboy?) casual clothes. With the navy straight skirt it is a nice (washable!) suit for short me. I am 5'1' . I could take on DC! It would travel well. If you are tall get the longer Hawkley and Wight Jacket. This jacket would be too short for any medium height or tall person.”
