Hawksley & Wight Wool Pants - Herringbone, Cuffed (For Women)

It's so hard to find pants that fit and are reasonably comfortable and flattering. These pants do well on most counts - the side zipper design and slightly below-waist fit camouflage a slightly bulgy belly. The fabric is an interesting black and white weave that looks light grey from a distance. However, the cuffs at the bottom, slight flare, plus being too long for me [meaning I have to wear 2-3in heels until they get shortened] give the pants a kind of disco era esthetic. I'm a decent seamstress, so will adjust the flare and get rid of the cuffs when I shorten them. The biggest flaw is that they are NOT lined, a serious omission. Fine for spring and fall, but won't be warm enough in winter.

I really liked these pants - very nice wool (not lined)which has a very silky feel, normal for very fine woolens. Has a very snappy weave, which would brighten up a black and white or ivory outfit. Unfortunately, I had to send them back because they were not flattering, otherwise, I would have been quite happy with this product,

This is the only pair of wool pants I have ever seen that looks exactly like AND feels exactly like cheap polyester. In addition to that they run quite small. Am returning them immediately. This is my first experience with this company and if this is any indication of their product it will be my last experience.
