Hawksley & Wight Worsted Wool Jacket - Mini-Houndstooth (For Women)

I felt very sloppy in this jacket; the overall fit was poor, and the fabric was stiff and unflattering.

This is a beautiful jacket. The fabric is great and the workmanship is excellent. The cut is flattering but take note of the length. This is not a short or waist length coat. It's cut more like a riding jacket. I'm 5'10" and it almost covers my butt. It also runs very large. Usually I wear a size 10. After a couple of tries I found a perfect fit with the size 6. That maybe sounds like too much trouble but now that I've got the right size I love it!

This jacket will be a winner for years.

Very unusual cut. Shoulders are very broad and have thick shoulder pads in addition to it. But hip area is quite narrow. If you are build like that - go for it , the quality of the fabric is superb and it is a very elegant jacket for the woman with narrow hips and broad shoulders. On me it looked like I raided my husband closet ..:(

I have ordered the next smaller size and hope it will fit. The jacket is perfect for office and business meetings. Also for informal dining, etc.

I ordered the blazer in a size 4, but it fit like a size 8. In production, they may have inadvertently put in the wrong size.

I have no idea who this jacket can fit out of the box. It has huge shoulder pads that if removed would made the shoulder seams just hang below shoulder line. The jacket buttons below the regular person/5'5"/ waist and won't allow for the lapels to lay flat .This is not where the jacket should button./ unless you have a stick figure and everything hangs on you anyway/ It is a shame because the jacket is long and could be worn with pants even by somebody who rather doesn't wear pants because of the heavy bottom and the fabric is timelessly elegant and good quality. I'll take it to my tailor and depending on the quote for alteration -will keep it or return it.

Great jacket with matching pants and skirt available. Lightweight wool allows for 3 season wear. Great cut for the taller woman.

I bought this jacket as part of a suit for work and other occasions requiring a tailored look. It's very versatile - can be dressed up or down with tops and accessories. I find it very comfortable, and I especially like the longer jacket, because I'm on the tall side. The weight is good for three seasons here (New England).
