5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Custom Fit Boot

This is a great boot. Very customizable fit. I bought this boot to go with a pair of Volkl Code Speedwall L skis. I am very happy with the setup. The Challenger 120 boot is the right flex for me; stiff but not to stiff . I am an aggressive all mountain skier that looks for steeper terrain to carve on.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Obvious Choice for my situation

What more can I say? We all know that we shouldn't buy ski boots online,...but I'm a rare case. I have a very normal foot, so when I buy my size I do not have a problem with footwear of any kind. These were no different. I busted the box open the other day and slid my foot in,...and the liner felt like pure ecstasy. Of course I wanted to wear them around the house all day, but then my ol' lady would have seen them and known they were new. Looks like they will have to hide in the old boot bag until the first day of the season. I haven't gotten the liner heated but I plan to before the first ride. I am 6'6. 245 and this flex is as low as i think I should go. My foot measured exactly 30.5 cm so the 30.5 was perfect. The buckles are robust and easy to operate. I would recommend wearing a smoother technical sock as opposed to anything "fluffy" because the liner has some high friction. You don't want to prematurely wear out your liner on entry because you are too cheap to get good socks.

Final thought - I got these on double clearance and ended up paying $341 after tax, after shipping...What more can you ask for?! 629$ boots for less than half price!?! no brainer.

Also...they look really good....Isn't that important?
