  • “How do I know what size I need?”
Asked by Anonymous from Unknown on 4/22/2011 12:00:00 AM
    • The most commonly used method for finding your exact grip size is as follows: On your dominant hand, note that your palm has three main creases. Hold your hand flat, with the fingers alongside one another. Measure from the middle crease of your palm, up the line between your middle and ring fingers, to a point equal to the height of the tip of your ring finger. For most women, this measurement will fall between 4 1/8" and 4 3/8", for most men between 4 3/8" and 4 5/8". Juniors will usually measure less than 4". Generally, if you're between eighths when you measure and you're not growing, you'll be better off going with the smaller grip, as a slightly small grip can be fattened up by 1/16" easily with an overwrap.

About Head

Ever since founder Howard Head developed the first laminated metal skis back in the 1950s, the Head sports equipment company has continued to innovate better and better products. From alpine skis to snowboards, tennis racquets to snorkeling gear, this brand is committed to producing the absolute best equipment in the world. Introduced in the late 1960s, Head tennis racquets were the first to feature aluminum frames, an innovation that quickly became an industry standard before carbon fiber and advanced fiberglass composites. Today, Head skis continue to be the choice of World Cup ski racers, and the company now offers a full line of Head snowboards for freestyle and all-mountain riders. Jump ahead of the curve and take your sport to the next level.
