Hein Gericke Tricky Motorcycle Jacket (For Men)

I tried this jacket even after reading the reviews about the fit. I guess if you are a women with a large chest and small waist or a small/slim guy with built up pecs and flat abs this jacket would work . Wanted it to fit but had to send it back. :(

I'll use it with by new dark Ducati Monster. I think it's a perfect fit and the price was significantly lower than the alternatives here at home (Turkey)

Very too small It look like a extra small.

The jacket is tight, but motorcycle jackets must run small. It is similar sized as my Dainese. You have to use it for hours before it is really comfortable. It fits me fine, and my BMI (Body Mass Index)is 22. Buy one size larger as usual if are in doubt or if you want a 'more relaxed' comfort. The protection is very good - shoulders, elbows and back is well armoured.

I have been wearing this jacket all season and I cannot say enough good things about it. The armor is beefy and well positioned. If you are not inclined to use it all of the armor is removable. The jacket also breathes well. There are multiple zip-openings that allow adequate breathability. I've used this jacket in the 80s and in the 40's and love it. It is however form fitting. If you have some extra pounds around the waist this probably is not the jacket for you, as it is not designed for hefty riders. I am 6ft 165lbs and the large fits like a glove. I highly recommend this jacket!

Well, for the price you can't beat it, but it is definitely too tight for me around the forearms. Maybe this is because I am a rock climber? I am a size 38 chest and the size M jacket fits perfectly there, the length of sleeves and torso are fine...just the pesky constrictor-sleeves. I am hoping the scholler stretch-fabric will stretch a bit more over time. With a sweater underneath this jacket is surprisingly warm, good to about 45 degrees, and with the vents open and a t-shirt I think it will be great in the summer too. The armor is top-notch, and the construction seems reasonable.

Bought this hopefully, even though others said it would fit only if I had gorilla shoulders ( I don't think I do), but it fits well. I wear a medium/8-10 in women's tops. The shoulders are impressive, because of the armor, but the jacket fits properly, all the armor sits where it should, and the jacket is long enough in the arms and back to fit when crouched over a bike. It's cool here already, so I might think it's hot come summer, but it's a good jacket for fall/spring.

This jacket is cut and fits like a Moto GP jacket, you can tell from the pictures. Sizing is (IMO) spot on (130 lbs, 5'6, 29-30 inch waist, ordered size small.)...I don't see how people can't zip it around their waste unless they have a huge waist and a gut. Snug around the shoulders and tapers around the waist stopping directly by the waistband of your pants. For me it looks and feels like it was tailored for for me. In my book it's fantastic - VERY comfortable to ride it, armor lines up perfectly. The only downside is the collar on the front gives a bit of chafe with my helmet strap...but that's probably a quirk of my helmet more than the jacket.

I ignored some of the reviews about the thin waist because I'm a small guy. I'm 5'9" 157 pounds with a slim 32" waist. I ordered a Medium and could barely zip it on. I would have considered moving up to a XL but the shoulders on the Medium were already huge. This is an AWESOME jacket in the WRONG SHAPE. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this to anyone, unless they have a very unusually narrow waist and huge shoulders. The quality is top notch. I ordered and LOVE the other Hein Gericke jacket I got.

Gorgeous jacket, fabulous leather, cool venting, great armor, beautifully made, but a very strange cut. Shoulders are huge, waist is narrow. I had hoped, after reading other reviews, that the small fit for men might make it fit a woman better, but, no, the cut is all wrong for a woman unless she has gorilla shoulders. I ordered both a Large and a Medium and am sending both back. A shame.
