Helen Kaminski Rabbit Fur Felt Hat - Packable (For Women)

This hat is so beautiful, I may have to go to a colder climate to wear it more often. The felt is soft as velvet, but the hat can be crushed and rolled for packing and still spring back in shape. The brim is not wired, but still is somewhat shapeable. The "Noisette" color is a rich chocolate brown, very flattering. One size fits all is a bit on the large size for a OSFA, but that's good.

I bought this hat to keep me warm and shade my face (very fair skin) during my walks with my pets and while traveling. It does both with style. Love the feel of the hat.

I don't know about hat prices. These hats seem really high priced to begin with to me. But with Sierra deal it wasn't bad. Love the shape. Most hats are, to say the least, unflattering to my face but wide brims, especially floppy ones, are good and this one does not fail. I've blond hair and the dark brown looks great with that and my fair skin. Wish it had a chin strap b/c it definitely will not stay put in a light wind.

This is a wonderful hat and reminds me of the one Carly Simon wore in the '70s (in the brown). It's great to have a winter hat that not only looks great but blocks the sun off my face when I'm out walking. My only negative comment about it is that even though there is a ribbon inside the brim to adjust for head size, this hat can fly off in the wind. The material itself is fantastic and it comes with a little bag for carrying or travelling. When it arrived, it was packed in the bag. I opened the bag, pulled out the hat, opened it up and it looked amazing. So I know it will stand up to being packed.

Just a great hat. I have been wanting to get one like this for a while but they are always so expensive. This hat is very well made and looks great on. A very good buy! Thank you Sierra Trading Post!

I was looking for a sunshading cold weather hat (very rare)and this is perfect. Though I am casual and thrifty, I'm also getting sylish & high end thrown in! I just wish they weren't out of black (mine is a lovely rich brown) I especially like the packability factor, as when the wide brim is inconvenient (car, indoors) I can just fold it up & tuck it anywhere. Plus it looks great on me!!

I'm a hat girl, and I've wanted a big, floppy hat like this since boho rocker chic hit the magazines this summer. The hat arrived today, and I put it on immediately. It's very Carmen Sandiego. I think it would look as great with a casual look as it could with a trench coat. I've got pale, freckly skin with long, strawberry blonde hair, and the Hazelnut (dark brown) color looks great with my coloring. (Read: It's not too dark for my skin tone, which I feared.) I love the fact that it's packable too. I foresee myself wearing this hat for years to come. :)

This hat is too small for my admittedly large head. Also, it is floppy, just like it looks in the picture, and I couldn't figure out how to wear it to good effect. Though the rabbit-fur felt is indeed lovely.
