I decided to replace my "going-to-lectures" canvas tote with the HW and I love it! Now I can divide my notebooks and papers from other junk that I carry around like wallet, cell phone, keys, miscellaneous, etc. It would be nice if there were more compartments inside or out, but really, that's a small complaint. It smell nice and the color is even to my eye - in contrast to what previous reviewers have complained about.

This purse is just perfect -- neutral color and lots of room -- I've received lots of compliments on it!!

I ordered the bag because of the look and I needed a larger purse to carry my things and my toddler's things. It is lovely and fashionable; however, it is larger than I anticipated and there aren't enough compartments/pockets to keep things separate. I'm keeping it, but it is definitely not for someone unless she has a lot of things to put in it, (e.g., bottles, handpuppets, etc.).

This purse is very attractive, and high quality! I am 34 years old, I would say that this purse is geared more toward the 50+ age bracket. If it were a little bit smaller, a bit slouchier and less boxy; I would have kept it since I got it for a truly GREAT price! But big purses are in style, so I had a hard time returning it! I have another Helen Welsh purse at home that is starting to get worn out, but this one was a bit too big and a bit heavier than I wanted. Too bad:( All Helen Welsh purses have a GREAT smell to them...I don't know why:) I am sure that even though this purse didn't exactly work for me, it will still make a GREAT purse for someone else.

This is the 4th Helen Welsh bag that I have purchased and I have been delighted with each one. This bag is just large enough to accomodate my laptop while at the same time drawing compliments as a handbag. The patterned lining means the bag looks as good inside as out.

Very disappointed. I have other bags of this brand, so I expected really high quality. The workmanship is good, but the bag looks as it was squashed once. I’ve got latter color. It is not golden shade as on the picture. It is grey, more like dirt color, not latter. Quilted parts are darker than smooth parts. I am going to return it.

I purchased the Berry bag. It is a nice bag but a little too large for me. The style is not as attractive as I was hoping it would be in person. Lots of room to carry all your goodies. Little too boxy for me.

This bag is perfect. I purchased the berry color, which is a deep wine...excellent for fall. The color is even prettier than on the website. The bag has tons of pockets...I love the inner zip compartment that separates the interior. It's so helpful to have my things separated! The leather is very high quality--nice and shiny, and the quilted accents are a nice touch. The only "con," which really isn't one, is that it was so well packaged and wrapped that it took me 20 minutes to get all of the tissue paper off of the hardware! :) A beautiful bag...definitely an investment.
