Helen Welsh Soft Wrap - Animal Stripe

I like how the fabric feels and that it is machine washable. I do not like what it looks like -- pattern is kind of 80-looking. Not my cup of tea--not classy/classic looking. Kind of looks like a suburban matron's idea of "stylish". Ick.

If you are looking for something that really has an animal pattern you will be disappointed in this, as the background is quite subtle. I also wouldn't call it furry. It is warmer than many shalls and stiffer than pashmina, but it would be good for cool summer nights or winter when you need something extra over your inside clothes. Medium dressy.

Quality is outstanding and will last forever if you wash in gentle cycle and line dry. Can't beat the outstanding price for an expensive looking wrap/scarf that STP offers. Am most grateful to STP for unbeatable prices for outstanding products.

Haven't worn this yet but it's soft and pretty and a nice size. The color is almost all tan, not much stripe at all. I was hoping it would have more gray, but it'll still work for me.

I intend to use this wrap as a scarf. It is lovely and feels like a soft, fine wool. I fail to see why the print is called "animal stripe". It is a very muted pattern, more like random shade differences. But it works and will look great with a black coat. It's certainly large and long enough to use as a wrap also. It was an amazing price, there was no way I could lose with this. Thanks STP!

I bought the tan (excuse me - latte) wrap. The "animal" print is very subtle - it looks like a textured print rather than an animal print. I wear this wrap in my office to keep the chill off, and it looks very professional (I'm a lawyer working for a government agency - there is no "casual Friday" in my world) and I have received complements on it. I wish I'd bought a second one for home wear. The care tag says to hand wash, and based upon the unselvaged edges, I expect they mean it: it looks like it would come apart in a washing machine.

I would have preferred a more vibrant colour.

I bought the latte color for my daughter and the red color for myself...both are beautiful. I generally use natural fabrics, but this is quite a fine acrylic.
