Perfect for sailing and window shopping in the rain. It has a nice grey scrollwork detail under the arms and down the sides along with zip/unzip venting under the arm. However, I do agree with the other reviewers that it does tend to run a size small and is exceptionally skimpy around the hip area. I am 5' 8" weighing in at 155 lbs and typically wear a size medium or 10/12 depending on where I shop. I had to order a size L and it fit well and proportional, with the exception, once again, around the hip. It's as if this jacket was made for the male hip which is nonexistent. The good news for me, is that if I wear a summer weight pant or short with this jacket (as it is a spring/summer waterproof shell) it fits fine around the hip and I can zip the jacket and have room for movement. It would be a bit tight if I were to wear jeans. For the special "3 day price" that I bought this jacket for, it was a no brainer to order and keep. It looks like a million bucks and fits well enough not to be an issue. I suggest to order a size up.

Reviewed by Kerrific from Washington DC on Sunday, November 04, 2012The cut is slim in the hips. I usually wear a medium but after reading other reviews I bought large which fits well in the hips. I like the pockets and especially the phone / ipod pocket on the chest.

I ordered a 2xl because I usually wear a large or xl but wanted to put lots of layers underneath. When I tried it on, it wouldn't even fit over my t-shirt!!
