Helly Hansen Seven J Jacket - Waterproof (For Men)

I use it for biking, running, and general wear.

I bought this men's jacket because all of the women's were too short. My husband has a Helly Hansen rainjacket that has been very useful for travel. His jacket is a medium and too large for me so I ordered a small. I am a size 10-12 and this jacket fit well except through the hip area. It is wearable and the other features make up for the tight hip fit.

If it fit, it would be a great jacket. I bought a XL and it barely fit around my waist and I am not an overweight person. I could not fit any extra layers under it. I am finding that more and more of the STP products, since being made in China or SE Asia, do not reflect the standard American sizing charts. The quality is decent but sizes are not and this is happened on more than one product I've ordered. Had to return several items. So I would order at least 2 -3 sizes larger than you normally wear.

I'm 190lbs and 6"1 and a large fits like a glove with just enough room for layer or two underneath. I like the mesh as it will keep the jacket off my skin when things turn sticky and because the membrane won't get shredded by my stubble. Good product and at this price a no-brainer

If it fit, my husband would have used it for general outdoor wear, hiking, XC skiing (over a vest), etc.
