Solid pair of pants. Would not want to wear them in a heavy activity like hiking or biking due to lack of breathability. Best for sitting/sailing.

We bought this for our teenage son to bring to a Yosemite class trip. He hasn't worn them yet, only has tried them on, but they seem exactly what he will need for waterproof pants. (I didn't feel comfortable giving a 5-star rating without him actually wearing them outside.) Surprisingly, the red looks much better in person (it was the only color left in his size).

Great to wear in a kayak, on cold days either with a bathing suit or long pants underneath keeps you dry without a lot of bulk

I bought this for my husband, but when it arrived, I tryed it on, and kept it for myself. It is so well made, and very comfortable on. This is easily a uniex size, I wear a large and it fit perfectly. [...] my husband wants one too.

I already had the Henri Lloyd vest which has served me well. The jacket is a welcome addition when the rain is inevitable.

I am 6'3", 240 lbs, kind of big in the legs, but the XL fits me fine. Someone else posted that the buckle was weak, but I think it's good, high quality all around. I wore it to a soccer game during the rain and it was definitely waterproof. These pants are more durable than they are light, so I wouldn't bring them on a backcountry hiking trip. But I plan to wear them when I need to be outside when it's cold and rainy. Someone said they got them for a bike/motorcycle, that would probably work ok, except you need something extra long for biking unless you want the legs to ride up your calves.

I'm happy with the jacket so far. We'll have to see how it holds up. Seems very well made.

Rode two hours on an ATV in the pouring rain and stayed dry.
