Henri Pierre by Bastien Mira Boots - Suede (For Women)

I just got these boots and wore them for the first time (but on a clear Sept day, not any snowy bad weather). They are comfortable, seem well made, the brown color is dark like it is in the picture. They are a nice height, not really ankle boots but not quite mid-calf. One thing, from the front the top of the foot area looks a bit boxy, and not really that sleek. It is hard to tell from the photo. From the side and from a distance they are fashionable, but just up close they seem odd.Plus the toe is very pointy (but not in a way they pinches your feet or anything, just the look). I am going to keep them, especially for the cold weather benefits they have, but will just act like their weird shape is somehow a new trend or something. And one last thing, they made my tall crew socks bunch down all the way to my heel, which kind of annoys me, but I will try other socks to see if it is a ongoing problem. I paid [$] for them, but would have been upset if I had paid more.

I'm not sure yet how the suede will hold up with time but for dry days, these boots are fine looking.

Would be nice if weren't defective. Not labeled as 2nds--and even if it were, this isn't a "cosmetic" problem.

Stylish and as advertised. Very comfortable except for zipper on left foot is smaller (not as wide) as the right. A little tight. Good to wear with my jeans.
