Henri Pierre by Bastien Vanessa Boots - Leather (For Women)

These boots do NOT wear well. I wear them every day here in the winter, and after about one month, they've just completely fallen apart. They've developed holes in the seams up the back of the leg in the weirdest spot, just above the ankle. They are actually too wide around my calf, so I know it wasn't me bursting them, the threads just completely unraveled. Also, all the rubber came off the heel after only a week, so there is zero traction. The shoes are too dangerous to wear at this point, I slip and slide on every floor type, and forget about the snow and ice. I have to toss them, which is a shame, because they were so comfortable and cute.

A good buy! The shaft its abit tight for me but thank god for slight elasticity at the top.

At first I thought the boot's materials looked fake, untill I tried them on and noticed how thick and high quality the leather really is. I cannot believe how lucky I was to find such a perfect boot IN MY SIZE! I wear an 8, medium width, usually the first size to disappear, and most mediums are actually too narrow in boots - especially with socks. so I ordered the W, and OMG they are perfect - roomy enough for socks without LOOKING roomy. I can wear them with leggings and a skirt to the office, lots of compliments, or with skinny jeans to walk the dog, (even in freezing weather!) that's how gorgeous and versatile they are. I hope they last forever, they are so comfortable - even from the very first try on. How often does THAT happen!

Unfortunately, the pair that I received were previously worn with obvious wear. Thus, I had to seed them back. Did not want to try to get another pair for fear of the same thing happening again.

Amazing boots!! Looks to have warmth, tread, enough but not too much heel. Perfect style for winter for a settled woman. Purchased for my college daughter who wanted warm winter walking boots. These fit the bill perfectly, except NOT styled for college age. Going back.
