Purchased for East Coast skiing, and these gloves are about perfect. Waterproof insert plus felt-style lining makes them good to go for most ski days except extreme cold (below zero). Nifty elastic "handcuffs" slide onto wrists, prevent you from losing gloves. Hestra gloves may set you back a few bucks, but they are worth it.

Hestra makes the best gloves. This is not the high-end pair, but it is light weight and warm. This pair does not have the restriction of bulky gloves, but I can tell they will hold up to plenty of outdoor use. These don't qualify for ultra cold weather, and they may not be the right glove for some winter sports, but they are perfect for regular wear and most outdoor winter activities. At discount there is nothing like a pair of Hestra gloves.

Well made and thought out gloves. I haven't had them long, but they appear to be quite durable. The only complaint I have is that the Hestra web site makes all these claims about the gloves European heritage and quality, but when the gloves arrived I found that they were made in China. That wasn't enough to prompt me to send the gloves back, but it was disappointing.

haven't got to use these yet, but have lots of experience with hestra gloves, and they are the absolute best with no close contenders. So after seening these up close, they will fill my niche perfectly, as an everyday but the below zero ski days.

Looks like they'll be great for hunting season this year.My hands get cold in this damp Louisiana climate. They should be just what I will need on a long chilly, rainy, boat ride through the southern swamps to hunting camp and endless time in my stand waiting for that trophy 10 point buck.
