It's 90 degrees outside, so I haven't put these gloves to the test. But I've bought a hundred pair of ski gloves for the family over the years and these look like they're up there with the best. I can't wait to try them out. Seeing them, I've bought another pair for my wife.

I haven't tried these gloves out yet in the snow, but they look and feel like they are going to be very warm. I was looking at the Heli's in the store for $110 and I would say these are pretty much the same glove if not better, tho the gauntlet isn't as long. Great glove at a great price.

I have now tested these gloves in negative temps (-6 degrees) and they were amazing. If your hands start to get cold, they won't stay that way. You can put them in the glove cold and they will warm up. I have used them skiing and hiking. Sometimes on hikes I have to take them off because my hands are actually too warm. This never happens for me! The short cuff is not a problem as they pull tight and are low profile so they fit easily under the coat sleeve. Also love the "handcuff"---no worries about loosing your glove on the lift. I am now a Hestra believer.

These gloves are very waterproof, and windproof but unfortunately they are not warm.
