5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Light Weight Hiker For A Reasonable PriceVerified Buyer Reviewed by EStreetAl from Upstate New York on Thursday, April 23, 2015I've reached a certain age when support in a shoe is important. Hi-Tec shoes have always provided w/ that needed support. This boot is light weight, very comfortable, and looks nice. Combined w/ a reasonable price (even better when purchased from Sierra Trading Post!) make this a very good hiking boot indeed.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable, ordered half size biggerVerified Buyer Reviewed by flinthillsks from Kansas on Tuesday, April 14, 2015The market is full of mid priced boots like these, read lots of reviews, took the advice to order half size larger. First thing I noticed upon wearing the the very first time...REPLACE THE INSOLES! The ones they come with are very uncomfortable. Put in a pair of Dr. Shoals...from Wal-Mart....boots feel comfortable. Yet to see how long they stay waterproof...I'll oil them after next trip out.

4.0 out of 5 stars. nice bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Pickyman. from Missouri on Tuesday, February 24, 2015I think these boots are exactly as described - supportive, flexible, light hikers. I bought them on sale, and had a 40% off coupon, so price was incredibly good. As far as sizing, I followed recommendations to buy 1/2 size up. If I were to do it over, I may have gone with a whole size up. If you are looking for boots for backpacking, these are not for you. Too light and flexible. But for general wear and hiking, very good, very comfortable.

4.0 out of 5 stars. So good I ordered a back up pair!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Paso Robles, Calif. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015As a average age Farmer, therefore near 68, I need a boot with good ankle & foot support, and not too heavy. These are just right for everyday activity on the Farm.

4.0 out of 5 stars. OK for the price.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cappnormal from minnesota on Monday, January 5, 2015True to size. I take an 11.5 and these were a 12 which wound up too large. I went by others comments.
Sent them back. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Very durable and bad [...] for hikingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Houghton Lake Bums from Michigan on Tuesday, November 11, 2014Bought these for my man who can tear through a pair of boots, let alone shoes, in no time! He loves them! Says they have great ankle support, and a great fit. The leather is in the right places so they wont wear out as fast. Plan on having these for a long time!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Babboo from Missouri on Thursday, September 4, 2014I have not had these boots that long, but I am pleased with them. It is important to buy the extra 1/2 lize larger. With that adjustment, the 10 and 1/2 boots fit me fine. I have warn them on several short walks to break them in. They were comfortable right out of the box and have been easy to break in. I will soon head for Colorado for a camping/hiking trip and I expect to use them on that trip for longer hikes. I have not had an opportunity to test the "water proof" element yet.
The boots are not as light as I might like, but they are ok for weight. The footbed seems solid and my feet feel good after a 2 mile hike.
The sale price I was able to buy them at was an exceptional buy. I love the deals at Sierra Trading Post.
So-far-so-good.
