5.0 out of 5 stars. Work shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Bugermiester from Florida on Wednesday, July 31, 2019I bought these shoes for work. I am a zoo keeper, I am on my feet all day and getting my shoes wet throughout the day. So far they are really comfortable and have kept my feet dry.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great deal for the priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lauren from California on Tuesday, July 30, 2019Lengthwise, they are pretty true to size. They are wider than most hiking shoes I've tried, which is great for my wide feet but may be too big for people with narrower feet. They are very lightweight and I color is true to the photo.

4.0 out of 5 stars. nice shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Janno from colorado on Monday, April 1, 2019These are very nice walking shoes for the price. However, the toe box is more narrow than other Hi Tec products I've used and my toes weren't very comfortable. Also the insoles are not cushioned at all. I put inserts in that helped but with the small toe box they just didn't work well for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars. True to sizeReviewed by Farm girl from Finger lakes on Friday, March 29, 2019I wear 9.5, and have narrow feet, but followed recommendations to buy half size larger. Well, got boats on my feet. B supposedly equals M so knew I would have to tighten laces, but can't reduce the length. Buy your normal size or expect to return. Also decided the nubuck wasn't right for hiking/working conditions, but otherwise looked like good shoe and were not real heavy.
Bought Merrell Siren Sport Q2 in 9.5 and it has wider toe box; not as pointy as the Hi-Tec. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Not Quite Right for MeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Leeblues from Missouri on Tuesday, February 19, 2019I previously owned a pair of HiTec hikers and loved them. They fit my high arch and were very supportive. This pair is quite different. They are comfortable but there isn't much arch support. Also there is so much padding around the ankle that I'm not sure I trust how well they would perform in a hiking situation. So they aren't the best choice for me unfortunately. I would send them back but my husband tossed the packing materials, so I'm going ot buy and insert and see if that helps.

4.0 out of 5 stars. true to size, slightly wideVerified Buyer Reviewed by Woodswalker from Virginia on Wednesday, December 12, 2018Upon recommendation of other reviewers, I ordered up 1/2 size, to 8 1/2, but they were too big, even with thick wool socks. They seemed just a little wide also. Had to return.
