5.0 out of 5 stars. wow serious buildVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from michigan on Tuesday, October 25, 2016I needed a brown shoe for not alot of money for casual wear. wow, these are very different than the grey ones I bought. A deeper foot bed for a heavier sock; make you feel like you want to go hike a mountain which I don't. I was impressed much better than my landscape shoe; may need to use them for that. Very structured foot bed with good support.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Merrykins from Arkansas on Monday, October 17, 2016I just wished it fit. This product feels too deep for my foot. I tried a heavier sock but my foot still slipped in the shoe when I walked.

5.0 out of 5 stars. No break-in neededVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiking Gram from Alabama on Saturday, October 15, 2016I have a narrow foot and use my own inserts. I'm very happy with this shoe in a medium. Lace adjustment makes for a good fit. It works with thin and thick socks. My feet were comfortable on the first wearing -- no break-in needed.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Add insoles for GREAT hiker!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hiking Grammy from Chagrin Falls OH on Tuesday, October 11, 2016I wanted a second pair of hikers to swap out when my Keens were wet, without the Keens price. Took a chance on these for a great price. Out of the box, support was inadequate - in fact, pretty much non existent. Swapped out the insoles for my own, and now these are AWESOME! Light, comfortable, great grip, and waterproof on wet grass and trails (have not tried them in a stream yet). I am super pleased. Way exceeded my expectations for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars. great shoes!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NC on Tuesday, October 11, 2016Funny how different variety of shoes within a brand can fit so differently. I previously bought a different pair of Hi Tecs that are alright, but not super comfortable, so I decided to take a chance on these for $23. Wonderful! Fit like a glove; I ordered a 2nd back up pair. I'm hard on shoes, being outdoors on my feet all day, and with Hallux Rigidus I need supportive shoes.
