Got this to replace an old down parka. So far the weather has hovered around freezing so I can't tell how warm it will be in colder weather or how dry I'll be in cold rain. The XL fit is true with long enough sleeves for a 6'2. 185 lb guy. Lots of pockets for glasses, phones etc.

I've never tried a down coat, so I was surprised at how light it is. Not sure how warm it really is as I haven't had any cold weather to test it in. The only con I can find is that the pockets are smaller than expected.

Very pleased with the quality and fit, I'm 5'9" and a 42 reg and ordered the large. Got the jacket just in time for sub freezing weather. Kept me warm during the cold spell. I love the 3 in 1 versatility the waterproof and the taped seams. My only complaint is where the down liner zips in. To zip in the liner you start from the bottom up. Where the zipper ends is right at the top of the jackets collar. So if you zip the shell completely up you have a very bulky and stiff collar right up against your face. I would not let this deter purchasing the Jacket it meets all my needs very happy.

I use this mostly when walking in wet or dodgy weather,if its cold in goes the down liner, if its warm out it comes. If its cold but not wet then I just use the down jacket. Best thing is it was unbelievably low priced.
