These are very comfortable sandals out of the box much more so than the flip-flop model. Lots of adjustments with an additional bit of elastic at key stretch points make the fit stress free in my case. These are great looking sandals in addition to being rugged on rocky surfaces as well as at the the beach. I would highly recommend these sandals to a friend without hesitation.
