5.0 out of 5 stars. Terrific hiking sneaker and casual shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Denver on Wednesday, August 19, 2015To start, Hi-Tec is a great brand and I have had a couple pairs of their boots. When I saw these I thought I'd try them out because of the price. They turned out to be a very comfortable shoe and has a vibram sole that is built to last. The mesh area makes the shoe very breathable. The toe box was a little cramped at first but they broke in just fine. If you wear thick socks I would suggest going 1/2 up, otherwise normal is great. I have been wearing them on my commute in and at the office as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Leather SneakersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Grand Rapids, MI on Thursday, August 6, 2015I forgot to add in my previous review that the sizing on these Hi-Tec Sierra snealkers is right on. I normally take a size 10 medium, and the 10 medium I ordered fit correctly right out of the box!!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Leather SnealersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Grand Rapids, MI on Thursday, August 6, 2015These Hi-Tec Sierra sneakers are stylish and comfortable. I haven't used them yet on any trails, but they feel pretty good around town, so far. They are fairly light and have a flexible Vibram® outsole. There is a multi-color trim pattern (primarily red) at the top of the tongue matching the shoelaces. Most people have told me that makes them look pretty hip and stylish. Another great deal from STP.

5.0 out of 5 stars. They're great!Verified Buyer Reviewed by BigSky3 from Black Hills on Tuesday, May 19, 2015I've owned a couple other Hi-Tec low-top trail/runners which have proven to be very comfortable and well designed/made footwear - as good as many top line brands and better than so many other brands. They run pretty close to size, maybe a little bit large, but not much - I wear 10-10.5 (44) and these are labeled 43 with a snug but good fit in the toe box. The soles are fantastic, gripping well on hard surfaces and in wet conditions with a look that works well as casual footwear with jeans when knocking around or with casual canvas when in camp. I'd recommend them for low-moderate trail cruising hikes because of the soles, more than that you'll probably want a shoe with deeper lugs and more lateral support; these are akin to an approach shoe. You'll enjoy these if you have a medium width foot and average arches, in which case they're all day wear. Forgot to mention, they're a bit lighter leather than the photo leaning toward tan but are good looking with their black/brown/red accent colors.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for Sporty and Casual EventsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Sunday, May 3, 2015An excellent shoe, at home with shorts or slacks. Great Vibram sole for off-roading, and sturdy, multi-color woven laces that look sporty and remain tied. Fit is fine and as advertised

3.0 out of 5 stars. Good quality, not much support, good gripReviewed by Colin from Oregon on Tuesday, November 4, 2014Pretty flat under foot and they don't fit very snugly so they aren't great for walking long distances. I like the style so they sort of fit the void of where a skate style shoe goes in my wardrobe during the winter months. As a shoe to cruise around town when you have potentially icy or snowy conditions they are great. Sole's give good grip on icy pavement. Fit is a bit on the larger side, I'm almost always a 12 but an 11.5 would have been better in these.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Got a lot of complimentsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Steve from North Carolina on Wednesday, June 11, 2014Nice looking, well made, very good soles. The concept is a sneaker crossed with a hiking shoe. I like that I can wear it loose for casual or tighten it up for hiking.
I will say that it is quite narrow in the front. I have skinny feet and they are a little confined in this shoe. -

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice sporty hybrid sport-street shoes but gave me blistersReviewed by Canada Bob from Canada on Friday, April 25, 2014These shoes are a unique combination of sport and street style. The leather is thick, soft, and high quality. They also have quite a bit of mesh for breathability. The soles are grippy and there is a nice toe bumper. The lace setup is very quick to tie up and release, very well done. The insole is very spongy and replaceable for long life.
Everything was good about these shoes until I took them for a walk and the padding on the top back heel dug into my heels and gave me blisters. So they didn't work for me, too bad.
