Hickey Freeman Italian Cotton Pants - Chinos, Flat Front (For Men)

These pants were of value. The material is ideal, weight-wise, for any season but winter. If I had one complaint, it would be to say that the rise and position near the pelvis is a bit odd for me. But physiology is a tricky thing when a company mass produces pants. Overall, these are very good quality.

These pants are cut with something of a Euro fit -- slightly lower rise, tighter seat, slimmer leg -- but not excessively low or slim. They are like the Bills M3 but with perhaps a bit more rise and a slimmer cut in the leg, esp. in the lower leg. They look good cuffed. And there is plenty of room in the front if you know what I mean. Still you might size up since the slim cut means you will not get too much bagginess in the next waist size up. The fabric is a lightweight twill with a dry hand. The colors (sand and khaki) are hard to distinguish from one another but with a bit of practice you can see the khaki has the yellower cast. Both are versatile summer trousers.

Pant material and look was nice. However, these pants are very tight. If you order, definatlely order a size (if not two) up.

I wear the Nickey Freeman slacks to work, to concerts, for walking the dog, and to dinner.

The fabric is too thin to qualify as high end dress wear.

I was looking for a nice-fitting chino pant for slightly dressed down business use and these fit the bill nicely. Well made pant and cut well. Had to go one size up from my "normal" size, but otherwise fit quite well. Pants are 100% cotton, but labeled as dry clean only--which seems odd. The fabric is a little stiff, but high quality and drapes well.

Very slim cut, with long crotch. Have not had this problem with other pants - somewhat unique to these chinos.

The pants were too small in the rear. If you work out and have a slim waste, your butt is probably to big for these pants. I had to go up a size and get the waste tailored in an inch. Good deal on nice pants though.

The slacks look like something a 20 year old would wear . . . we're a lot older than that and didn't like how they looked. Are sending the slacks back.
