Product made well, pretty good value. Did what it was intended. Only problem, battery died short time after unit arrived. Replaced battery and item works fine. Suggest item shipped with battery not installed, might have been the battery was in unit awhile. Other then battery issue, item worth the purchase cost.

Mine arrived with a bubble in the fluid and a dead battery. Maybe the water resistance (note: not water-proof) would be important to some, but there are many better and smaller compasses.

Thermometer did work when it arrived and the product was cheaply made, I would have expected something like this in a box of cereal. I Returned it.
