Verified Buyer Reviewed by AA from Texas on Sunday, October 16, 2016Great Bag for long trips
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Connor P. from Missouri on Monday, January 11, 2016I got this bag to hold all my scuba gear. This is a heavy duty bag. I like that it rolls rather then lifting everywhere I go.
Reviewed by Law from Houston on Monday, June 8, 2015I've only used this bag about 5 times in the last 2 years (4 of those being checked in at an airport where it gets the most abuse) and already the teeth on the zippers are falling apart. This prevents me from closing the bag all the way and anyone who notices the broken zipper can easily open the bag all the way despite having a a luggage combination lock to hold the zipper together. Otherwise the bag is great in terms of size. Guess I will see how good High Sierra's return/repair customer service is. Beware.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by JV from North Carolina on Sunday, September 21, 2014We bought this for our son, who was embarking on a months long adventure overseas. I liked that it had the shoulder straps in addition to telescoping handle. It's been tested in terms of the volume of stuff packed, and seems to be holding up fine.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by mtboulder from Boulder, CO on Friday, April 18, 2014Nicely designed bag with lots of room. Perfect for a long vacation when traveling with clothes plus extra equipment for biking, fishing, etc. I wouldn't want to carry this on my back for very far due to it's long size and no hip belt but it's not supposed to be a backpack either. The roller works quite well.
Answer It is to large for carry on for most air carriers. You would have to check with what carrier you plan to use for their restrictions since it varies from carrier to carrier. It is too large for USAir since their restriction is 62" and this bag is 70". It weighs 9 lb. 12 oz.
Answer This bag is 36x20x14" for a total of 70". This bag would be too large.
