This pack is a great all around pack and lightweight. The only thing I noticed was the shortage of attachment loops, but I was able to put those items inside that would normally be attached by carabiners. Other than that, this is a strong external frame pack. Time and trips will determine durability, but it is solid so far. It was a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law, and that alone makes it great!

Large well built and priced backpack as a gift for my brother. He loves it and I have a similar version to it. Great for someone just getting started with backpacking or for someone who needs a pack with lots of room. Be careful not to pack more than you need! Built in rain fly is great for my area where it rains often. I gave it only 4 stars because the thing is really big and can feel bulky on a smaller person. If you are average sized though it will work great. Considering the price and quality it's a great buy compared to internal framed packs that can cost hundreds of dollars more. I will buy again if I need another.
