“I bought the 28" High Sierra duffel for an 18-day trip. Once packed, after a total of maybe 200 feet, it quit rolling and started dragging, wheels splayed out to the sides. Although we babied it, taking cabs instead of public transportation, carrying instead of dragging, etc. (there is no shoulder strap; it was awful), by the time we arrived at our second hotel the hard shell base of the duffel was shattered and we were leaving a trail of plastic chunks. Thank God for duct tape and the fact that most of the trip was on a cruise ship.”
