High Sierra Rolling Duffel Bag - 26"

I make my living as a full-time paramedic and work 24 and 36 hour shifts away from home. I purchased this duffle to transport uniforms, toiletries and essential equipment to and from. I love the wheels and telescoping handle for transporting. The duffle is roomy and appears durable enough. All in all, a good bag for the job.

We needed new bags that meet the airlines stricter requirements. These do the trick.

I bought the 28" High Sierra duffel for an 18-day trip. Once packed, after a total of maybe 200 feet, it quit rolling and started dragging, wheels splayed out to the sides. Although we babied it, taking cabs instead of public transportation, carrying instead of dragging, etc. (there is no shoulder strap; it was awful), by the time we arrived at our second hotel the hard shell base of the duffel was shattered and we were leaving a trail of plastic chunks. Thank God for duct tape and the fact that most of the trip was on a cruise ship.

I had it for about 3 years. It was good for short travel and carry on, but when full, it tore in a couple places when checked on airline

Traveled to Europe where we were getting on/off trains, stuffing baggage into lockers, walking distances. This bag has 3 options: Rolls, duffel bag, and backpack....FAB for this trip. Only issue was packing the bottom section correctly, so that the bag would stand on its' own.

I live in a very small place and storage is a problem for me, luckily this fits under the bed! I am disappointed in the fact that it does not stand up on its own and the telescope handle is difficult to pull out/push in.

This duffle needs to have stops at the front because if the bag is heavy it has a tendency to tip forward but hard to beat for the price.

This bag is a little heavier than I wanted but the quality is there. Should last for several trips.
