High Sierra Rolling Duffel Bag - 36" Drop Bottom

This bag saves me [$] in extra baggage charges every time I fly with my bike. It had enough space to carry everything for an Ironman triathlon plus regular clothing. The only down side is that it doesn't have a real bottom so it doesn't stand up well in the vertical position.

I am a traveling exhibit technician, and the drop botton allows space for boots, shoes, and tools. then I can organize my clothes in the top. Once I land I can either pull it around, or throw it on my back. I love it for my road trips!

I should have gotten the smaller version, but this bag has lots of room and is well made.

I wish it had at least one compartment on the inside, though it didn't advertise it so that was my error. The material feels durable but I haven't used it yet.

fits more than I thought when I got it. It is great - we have 2 bags for a family of 4, and still had room to bring home gifts from christmas. we really like it & high sierra & [...] have a great policy if anything goes wrong with the bags.

This is a great bag, however, it can't take the abuse todays airline industry dishes out. I've had to send my bag back to the manfacturer twice for repairs and both were due to airline abuse. One time the airline tore the rubber material by the wheels and ripped a gash in the cloth. The second time they busted the zippers. I still like the bag and if you can keep from using the airlines it will probably last you a long time.

Bought 2 of these bag recently. After first trip (non-stop domestic flight, no luggage transfers), the fabric on wheeled bottoms had begun to wear through in a couple of places on both bags and one zipper pull had torn off. I bought ballistic cloth and reinforced fabric bottoms myself. I wasn't expecting top quality - but it was a pity that the good design wasn't matched by better construction & materials... would recommend purchase, but with caveat that replacement will probably be necessary in a couple of years.

It's a shame, I really liked this bag. It was very roomy, sturdy and practical for the [$] I paid. But, the handles started ripping off after only two years. I took it only on two family vacations. It did not hold up as well as our other luggage.
