wheels broke down after a couple of flights...very flimsy construction, so don't buy it despite the attractive price.

I use this to ship baseball team equipment to different tournament sites.

I haven't received my product yet, so I don't know if it's any good. I haven't even received confirmation that it has been shipped. I have, however, been flooded with junk email from Sierra Trading Post!!! It would be cool if they were as attentive at updating customers with the status of their orders as they are as useless spamming. I will never order another product form Sierra Trading Post, and I strongly recommend you shop elsewhere also!!

The airlines have a 62 inch limit total circumference... if you fill this full (to 16 inches deep), you will be over the limit. We plan to fill it to 12 inches, and hope that gets us on the plane without a problem. It would be nice if this caution had been in the description.

This is a warranty replacement. The main zipper failed after approximately 6 roundtrip flights. I believe failure was due to rough handling by TSA. Every single flight this bag went on, it was opened and inspected by TSA. If handled correctly, I believe the zipper would have been no problem, but it would be better if they used a #10 YKK coil zipper to begin with.

I returned this item. The zipper is poor quality. It crossed teeth and binds.

HAVE ALREADY OWNED ONE OF THESE FOR OVER 6 YEARS. USE IT FOR TRAVEL OVERSEAS TO WORK ON A SHIP. IT TAKES A LOT OF ABUSE THROUGH AIRPORTS, TAXIS, BOATS AND ANY OTHER FORM OF TRANSPORTATION I ENCOUNTER. LOVE THE HIGH CAPACITY TO HOLD ALL MY GEAR THAT I NEED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. I WANT THE SEPERATE COMPARTMENTS. THE HIDEAWAY BACKPACK STRAPS ARE A MUST FOR THROWING THE BAG ON MY BACK TO MOVE THROUGH A CROWDED PLACED IN A HURRY. I WAS THRILLED TO FIND THE PRODUCT AGAIN TO REPLACE THE OTHER ONE WHICH I HAVE JUST SIMPLY WORN OUT FROM AN EXTREME AMOUNT OF USE.

We bought this to replace the same item, purchased two years ago here at STP. The previous duffel had a frozen wheel, which proved to be a cracked mount (not fixable). On inspection, both wheel mounts were compromised, and we also discovered that the aluminum frame inside the back was bent or kinked, as if someone had jumped on the middle of the duffle. And there was a tear in the nylon fabric. All this strikes me less as bad design than airline abuse over the course of perhaps 8 trips. At the same time, this new replacement model seems all of two pounds heavier! We hope the extra weight will prove to defend the duffle better, but will have to wait and see.
