There is no O-ring or other seal, so if you invert the pack or lay it down it will leak. Looking for an O ring large and thin enough to fit to see if that'll help.

I wasn't sure how it would feel while running, but when strapped down the weight is distributed well and it works like a charm. The only thing is that it is a little hard to clean out the water completely (although that may be for most hydration packs) and I wish there was one more pocket on the inside that completely separated the water pouch from your own contents.
