    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I've only had this item for a few weeks, but so far so good. The bag is attractive, relatively spacious (I lug around a ton of stuff so this is still on the small side for me), and seems sturdy, well-made, and durable. It would have been nice to have the padded laptop case in soft corduroy like Timbuk2 bags, but that's a minor quibble.
