I had a previous High Sierra duffel that I was taking on all my air trips, lasted 5 years with intense travel.
This new one was showing tear and wear after one single trip even on the zippers.

Great bag for the price. Roomy, enough pockets for separating multiple items. The only thing missing is internal tie-downs. It has a lined nylon material making me believe it would be a little bit water resistant. Durable enough for airline travel. This is my third High Sierra rolling duffel (growing family) and I am very happy with it.
