“long time to charge phone, but it works!”

“Looking for some way to charge my cell phone in a pinch, when we loose electricity/for emergencies. Already have a crank radio but having another one (for the car, I will be keeping this in the car) is a plus. I couldn't believe, at this price, that there would be an adaptor that actually fit my phone, but it does, and it does charge it. But MAN, you need to crank for TEN MINUTES initially to precharge the battery. I cannot imagine cranking that long...it is too hard. So, fully charging the cell phone with this looks bleak. With three minutes of charge, the radio works and gets good reception. The LED flashlight isn't super bright but most LED's arent'...it's fine. I did not test this out to see how long I had to crank to charge my phone or how much radio or light time I get with, say, five minutes of cranking. This gets four stars because of the price to value ration ie it actually works...that surprised me given the price.”
