    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I do not believe the shorts I received were brand new. They looked worn, the color was faded on the inside. I wouldn't be surprised if they were washed and then returned. Otherwise, there's no reason these shorts cost so much. The material is just plain ol' cotton, nothing special. Not sure why something Made in Romania is supposed to be worth so much more. Sending them back!

    I bought these for my husband so can only speak to the matter of their appearance. They are very nice, neat looking shorts, although a bit more casual than I expected, mainly on account of the fabric, which is of good quality but is a casual rather than a dressy cotton. The shorts are rather long, reaching to and even over the knee cap. Oh yes, husband says they are very comfortable.
