Hiltl pants are consistently excellent and they all fit the same when you buy the same size.

These pants are hands down the most comfortable, durable, attractive, functional pants that I have ever worn... They move with you and allow flexibility to your motion. I can't ever remember buying anything from Germany that wasn't superior in all aspects...Those people really do their homework!!!! I bought several pair of these and only wish I had bought in when all of the right sizes and colors were were available. As it stands, my tailor will be busy hemming and fitting these to my size, but thats O.K., with the savings I can afford to have them fitted thanks to STP's outrageously fine deals... I don't wear suits much or work in an office but will wear these daily, even hiking, their comfort is unequalled...Levy's {levie's???} will have to take second shelf to these and come winter I always have my Steinbock wool felt pants from STP for colder days... Really nice pants, as expected from Hiltl. My only complaint is that the cotton/wool blend is heavier guage than I had expected. Probably more of 3 season than 4.

The pants are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn, that is from my son who I bought them for. He loves them.

While I was familiar with the Hiltl products, I had not purchased a wool product. I bought the product, tried it on and it was a great fit. Since it needed hemming, I decided to wash it first. Washing directions were not very clear on the tags but I went back to the website where the directions were under the product description (Care: Machine wash, hang dry). I followed the directions and when I pulled them out of the washer, they looked dreadful. But I hung them up to dry (pants hanger) and with a day, they were dry and looked great. They still fit and I have taken them to the tailor to hem with cuffs.

Fabric is attractive, durable, comfortable. Really is "superb Old-World tailoring." Excellent fit for me. I have a German tailor, who did the cuffs; she said, "These pants will last you a long time."

I learned about Hiltl from their jeans. Then I bought a pair of virgin wool dress slacks....awesome. Then I bought these....just as awesome. At my local high end retailer who carries Hiltl, I would have paid over[$]for these slacks. The biggest pro about their slacks is their comfort.
